Season 2 Episode 3
Transit Planning
Tara Crawford

Next Stop, America’s Largest City, is an episode all about the happenings in transit, particularly in the largest geographic city in the nation. What is working, what is not, and how is the world of transit adapting to a post pandemic landscape? Tara Crawford answered those questions and much more in an episode that may have just helped us find our fourth commissioner!

THE podcast
THE WHISKEY PAIRING
In a first for a Planning Commission guest, Tara Crawford suggested her own whiskey pairing–whiskey by the distillery Uncle Nearest. The whiskey is named in honor of Nearest Green, America’s first known Black master distiller and the person who taught Jack Daniel how to make whiskey. Join us in making a donation to Uncle Nearest’s HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge to raise money $1 million for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
