Episode 11

Planning and Public Health

with

Dr. Richard Jackson has been a leading voice and calling for improving America’s built environment in the name of public health for well over a generation.

His story is incredible. Having worked with children experiencing communicable diseases initially and later witnessing the rise of Type II Diabetes among our youth, Dr. Jackson was propelled him into action.

He has been a strong leader for changing how planners, developers, and decision makers think about how we build our communities and we were thrilled to sit down with him for a chat.
